"I work mainly with etching, silkscreen and wood/lino. I also enjoy working in three dimensions with clay. My prints are the end result of much thought. As a member of a few local and national clubs, I walk and climb regularly in this country and other parts of the world. This physical interaction with my surroundings and the consequent experience of lonely and impressive places perhaps encourages reflection. In my work I try to express some of the feelings I have about mankind and his place in the world and the impact he has made through his actions and beliefs. My increasing concerns about ecology, abuses of nature and our fellow men, are what tend to drive my image making at present.
