"Although trained as a sculptor, I am very happy working as draughtsman, watercolourist and printmaker, and have had my printmaking career hugely facilitated by the accessibility of the West Yorkshire Print Workshop at the Eastthorpe Gallery in Mirfield, and the help and encouragement I have received there. I have used the workshop consistently since 1990, exhibiting as a member of the Print Workshop and also as a member of the Inkers Group which was founded there. Through Inkers I have branched into a wide-ranging variety of themes and experimental techniques. "
